long time

wow folks
it has been a long time
i can say i´m sry
but honestly i´m not
actually i´m super happy and super busy rigth now
so that i had to limit my hobbies to zero
time just gets away from me these days
i dont know how people do it
8h sleep, 6h work, 2h cooing each day, 2h sport, rest working on my master thesis..
...
so whats new?

1.
since 4 month i´m working as an consultant in one of austrias best envrionmental company
and i´m over the top happy about it
my colleques are perfect and my boss is.. i dont have a name
awesome would be wrong but..
But the shady side is that i dont have plenty of time to do other things i love

2.
this month i did a yoga teacher training
within november i´m certified
yeah
this training was all about pregnancy, post natal training and mother-baby yoga
i love it! it is so fascinating how those little ones respond to their mother
even when they are not born yet

3.
ah well Yeah i did a halfmarathon!!!
my friends popped this glorious idea to run one
and in a hush-hush operation we sigend up for it
well not the best idea of the year because we had virtually no time to train
BUT we did it and i have to say i´m a little bit praud
22 km in 2h 24m
(biggest sport event i did so far)

4.
finally i got some time for friends
and what we can do best we did
EATING
we had a wonderful nigth in a super little resaurant called "tapasta"
where we booked a six wine dégustation accompanied by a six course meal
FOOD HEAVEN
you know how i love to eat and i´m doing my best to try everything
and do everything
but this day i did nothing

Hello France (part 1)

vacation happend
2 weeks in "le france"

i wanted to be in France for some time now and was super happy as we decided to go there for our big summer vacation.. at 4am we drove to the airport to get ready what should have been an amasing vacation, but unfortunatly the "dear" weather god (i don´t know who he is, but i´m clearly pissed at him) was not on our side - instead of 2 weeks of sunny over the top summer feeling we just got
one day, ONE DAY of sun and blue sky

The first 10 days we stayed at a apartment hotel "Goélía" (it´s just our thing for vacation to be self- caterer) in Mimizan (southwest down, near Bordeaux) well it was O.K. but not super special.. unexpected we had to pay extra for toileteries and bed sheets..but it wasn´t that bad, we took it with humor.

the first night at 4am it started to rain and we were fascinated by the really great thunderstorm over the sea..
(we did´t know yet what consequences this should bring)
...
the sun was away for 8 days in a row.. NICE
we did our best to stay confident, we thought "maybe it will get better tomorrow" but
the forecast told us another story..
so we had to do the best...and...we did
we went straight up to the next surfschool near us and booked surfing classes.
we had SO much fun.. we kissed the waves truley every 14 seconds but it was SO worth it
so the "nosunsummervacation" was forgotten the instant we got into the water

Vacation Saved

take a glimpse of what we captured

Hello Vienna (part 3)

this one will be a little bit shorter
but absolute worth every  step we took

so after 2 days of wanderlust around vienna
i decided (yes me, the boys had nothing to say about our tour to go)
we hit schönbrunn palace, gardens and zoo
so just around 6h of walking again with a stop to eat lunch

so off we are
schönbrunn palace

it is so full of baroque glory this old hunting chalet
we just spend the day in the freezone such as the park and formal gardens
surrounding Schönbrunn
and what can i say
i love gardens and those are typical French Baroque gardens on the ground,
getting more natural English style in the elevated, more distant parts

the "Neptunbrunnen" marks the center of the garden
and is aligned with the "Gloriette Palace" on a hill overlooking Schönbrunn

after wandering down again we started to get hungry
so we had lunch @brandauers
typical food such as spareribs , schnitzel and cordon bleu
OR apfelstrudel

afterwards we went to Schönbrunn Zoo
it is super nice when having kids and grandparents who are bored
but also for tourists like us
it is not the biggest but it is nice to look at because of its baroque cages

after spending the whole day outside
we were glad for staying home
we had a little "Brettljause" for dinner (a typical cold dish with sausage, cheese and bred)
and went straight to bed
-no yoga no sport today-

before we said goodbye he got a special dish for lunch
"Kaiserschmarrn & Erdbeerknödl"

goodbye dear best friend from germany!
thx for having you here and for such a great vacation feeling

Hello Vienna (part 2)

2nd day
so much walking

so we started after a little breakfast
just ordinary joghurt with fruits and for Flo just apricot cake (i baked 2 days before)

after we headed for the first district
our city center or as we say "inner city"
it is framed by the Ringstraße (which we did on our first day)
i love this area
it is full of beautiful medieval buildings and it also concentrates the vast majority
of all see-worthy attractions

so we started with the Stephansdom cathedral
further we took our tour along the "rotenturm"Street
to "Graben" and "Kohlmarkt" up to "Hoher Markt"
there we enjoyed the "Anker Uhr" (a Jugendstil clock)
our most luxury shopping areas (looking was good enough)
around the corner is "Am Hof" Square with beautiful churches (such as Kirche am Hof)
after we walked to the "Judenplatz" Square, with it´s Jewish Museum
nearby the oldest church in Vienna "Ruprechtskirche"

all that walking made us very hungry so we met MrM for lunch @Figlmüller
home of our famous "Wiener Schnitzel" + the perfect potato salad
very best Schnitzel in town

so back on track
we headed back along the "Kärnter Street" (another shopping street)
to our beautiful opera which is next to the "Albertina" (museum)
further we went to "Naschmarkt" the biggest farmers market
with lot of restaurants and bars

off to yoga!

we met all in the evening for dinner @vapiano
(i know, it has nothing to do with vienna, but the food...)

day two accomplished

Hello Vienna (part 1)

today i´m talking about our tour through the beautiful vienna
vienna is a wonderful city with so much to see and so many beautiful areas full of
small perfect restaurants, coffee shops (the best EVER), boutiques and of course great architecture

i love vienna and it´s little districts
a great place to walk around or just sit down and have a coffee or some sweets

my best friend from germany (Flo) visited us for 3 whole days (+2half)
it is quite a task to see vienna in only 3 days! i can tell
so a lot of planing especially planing what food to start with
we actually have a lot to eat..

so we started with our beautiful "mariahilfer"street - a big shopping street
all day long from "Museumsquatier" to parliament and our townhall
till we ended up right before the "Votiv"-chruch
all in all something about 4h of walking
in the afternoon we were eager to do some exercise
me bikram yoga and the boys headed to the fitness center

after, we met for dinner @ Burger de Ville
best burger in town (i can tell, i´m THE bruger girl)
burger and super yummy fries
and after so much good food
we actually had the best ice cream in town
**better picture will come as soon as a get there the next time

super perfect tasty yummy delicious ice cream
day one accomplished

xoxo

where to start...

i love blogging
and i´m seriously sorry for posting so slopy
i really don´t know how people can keep up with a daily blog
after a long day of work, learning, writing and teaching?

but anyway, my life is just perfect right now
i hope you had a great week?
this was one of the first in a while where i realized whats happening in my life
it is a journey, and for that reason, it´s not just one big event..
my new job, my half finished master thesis, yoga class i give, my friends i have time to meet with
and really i´m trying my best to keep it that way
i take each moment and put love into it - so that i will end up with a life that is filled up with love
so life lately
right now i´m struggeling with my sport scheldule a lot
because of my new job and my master thesis my free time is around 0
so for now my scheldule is all about: Yoga (ashtanga/bikram) and running

the funniest story happend last week
my best university friend "hannal" wrote me a sms just to inform me that we will run a
halfmarathon in octobre.. my eyes just bulged out the second i read it
so now i have to train for it too - which is quite hard,
because according to the running plan i should at least run 4 times /week
haha ok - we will see that

but not only i have struggles with sport but also with my diat
i need so much energy and because of that i´m not eating the healthiest way :/
it is really unnerving and frusttrating
but NOW without being a real student any more with lot of time for cooking
i´m realizing how hard it is to eat properly
and there are those little things- just like when a colleague is bringing something
super nice but super "not healthy" and you don´t want to say No Thanks because maybe it´s offending him
wow yeah i know that now
but slowly i will find a way
and my routine will come back again (soon i hope)
lately i scrolled down my old posts and i had a lot of goals!
so here we go again
my goals for August:

my mantra of the month:

JUST DO IT ANYWAY

have a truly wonderful week
xoxo
